Paintings
My paintings employ a palette of natural mineral pigments, inks, and graphite, with encaustic, cold wax medium, linseed oil, or nikawa (hide glue) used as binders. Most of them are painted on printmaking paper mounted on wood panels; some are on gesso-primed panels. The frames or cradles of oak, ash, or beech are an integral element of each piece.
